Branwell Bronte’s great masterpiece

I’ve read a piece about the Bronte sisters this morning. This is the year we’re celebrating Charlotte Bronte, though have to say, thought we’d hear more about her and her sisters with new productions and documentaries, but Shakespeare does seem to have taken over. Anyway, digressing, I then read a piece about Branwell Bronte, the artist brother who never reached his potential and who turned to drink and the odd smoke of something or other.
Charlotte wrote Jane Eyre, Emily, Wuthering Heights and Anne, The Tenant of Wildfell Hall.
Branwell? Branwell wrote Ilkley Moor Baht’at.
That great Yorkshire song was written by the ‘failed’ Bronte.
Well done Branwell, your work is alive and kicking.
